About us
The main priority of CLARAS is to correct and identify any unsanitary discharge to provide vitality to the tributaries of our watershed. We work to provide information to the corresponding entities on collapsed canals, obstructed bridges and potable water leaks. In addition, we offer the public water analysis services in our certified laboratory.
Our commitment is to conserve water bodies, identify and locate the unsanitary discharge location and address the critical situation that constantly affects the watershed of Puerto Rico. The reason for our existence is to improve the quality of the waters of Puerto Rico to guarantee its recreational and commercial use, suitable for fishing and swimming in order to promote healthy activities for the enjoyment of all its beneficiaries.
Why CLARAS?
The increasing social sensitivity to the undesirable effects of human activity on the earth, makes more sense than ever to speak of the environmental market. Despite our need to keep our waters clean and of excellent quality, there is currently no agency, company or individual that can provide the services that CLARAS offers. In addition, current environmental awareness has been endorsed by various organizations and academic institutions, such as the University of Puerto Rico, the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which seek to achieve quality standards Favorable to enjoy a healthy environment.
Currently, industries to improve the quality of the environment are proliferating significantly. This growth is due to several factors: the misuse of resources, the lack of knowledge of the citizens about the environment, inadequate construction and little interest in preserving resources for the benefit of future generations. For these reasons, CLARAS appears at a time favorable to the market to address the existing environmental problems in order to ensure that future generations enjoy water bodies in excellent quality.
